Be careful what you wish for…. ;)

I sometimes get to thinking…I’m just not doing nearly enough with my life. And then the phone rings. It happens. It’s a good thing. So let’s talk on what the net result of that particular day was….

THURSDAY MARCH 9TH at ADVENTURE BREWING COMPANY SOUTH – ALL AGES SHOW

First off, it’s my birthday this week (no, I’m not fishing for well wishes….let me explain). I usually invite friends out, we go hang at a pub, have a few drinks and good conversation. This year, I’m going to switch it up; The Brittany Frompovich Trio will play on March 9th at Adventure Brewing Company South. We’ll keep the tunes going. Plus…we’ve got an assortment of lovely, locally made brews from the Adventure Brewing Company to sample. And I’ll bring cake to share…so come and hang out with us!

I am really excited about my band for this show; we will have the amazing Bruce Middle on guitar and Bart Balderson on drums. I’ll be singing, playing the bass, and making loops on the fly. Expect a mix of originals and covers; rock, funk, fusion, jazz, and more. I do mean more…things could go sideways in all kinds of creative ways with this crew.

Cover is $5, and all ages are welcome as long as the under 21 crowd is accompanied by an adult. So come on out and see what happens with this mix of unique, creative, and talented artists!

After that, I’ll be supporting the talented and lovely Ms. Ashleigh Chevalier with her “Burning Down” CD release tour. All the details are on my show schedule at www.ladybassmusic.com. But the short version is as follows;

3/23 – Richmond, VA – The Tin Pan

3/24 – Fredericksburg, VA – Hard Times, Four Mile Fork

3/25 – Leesburg, VA – Smokehouse Live

3/30 – Roanoke, VA – Martin’s Downtown

3/31 – Ashville, NC – Highland Brewing

4/1 – Gatlinburg, TN – Sugarlands Distilling

After that, I’m back with Bruce and Bart to do another show! *fist pump*

Fri. 4/7 – Brittany Frompovich Trio – Adventure Brewing Company North – 8 to 10 PM – once again, an all ages show, no cover (under 21 folks need to be accompanied by parents)

For my bass students and folks in the local bass community, you should definitely check out these upcoming bass community events;

Fri. 3/17 to Sun. 3/19 – Gerald Veasley’s Bass BootCamp – info at www.geraldveasley.com/bassbootcamp/

Sat. 3/18 – The Bass BootCamp EXPO – this event is open to the public – info at http://www.bassbootcamp.com/expo.htm

Sat. 5/20 – Bass Break Live, New Castle, DE – one day intensive of bass instruction and bass community with world known instructors – register at 302-538-4548

Alright! That’s plenty for now! Thanks for staying with me to the end.
