Walnut Jazz Bass Videos

So, by request, I put together some footage of the new bass in action this past weekend. I’m still getting used to the neck, so forgive the moments where I’m still getting my footing with this bass. The first 1:22 is all pics from the build, including some new ones. Jump to 1:24 to see it in action.

There’s also a video of the bridge pickup being used solo on “Dock Of The Bay”.

Here’s another camera angle. All videos shot by Billy Wooten at the Capital Ale House in downtown Richmond, Virginia.

The unfinished body was created by Luciano Pastor – burl Brazilian walnut on ash, purchased through eBay

Neck by Warmoth – Birdseye maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, salvaged/repurposed from a beater bass
